Pain 疼痛

Acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine, along with adequate exercise and sometimes lifestyle modification can bring long-term pain relief.  Acupuncture naturally addresses both acute and chronic pain due to traumatic injury or repetitive stress, by enhancing circulation, reducing inflammation, and stimulating a healing response.

The National Institute of Health (NIH) reports that when surveyed, more than one-quarter of U.S. adults had recently experienced some sort of pain lasting more than a day.  The National Health Interview Survey, which included a comprehensive survey of Complimentary and Alternative Medicine used by 3.1 million Americans in the past year, found musculoskeletal complaints accounting for 7 of the top 10 conditions for which people received acupuncture.  Back pain was the most common, followed by joint pain, neck pain, severe headache/migraine, and recurring pain.
