Scheduling & Payment Information
Initial Consultation & Treatment: 2 hours in length, consisting of a detailed health history, examination, and 2 rounds of acupuncture, typically face up and face down. Herbal prescription, diet and supplements, and lifestyle counseling are included as appropriate. A 90 minute initial appointment is available for patients upon request.
90 Minute Return Acupuncture Visit: This is generally recommended for ongoing treatment after the initial visit, and consists of the intake, exam, and 2 rounds of acupuncture.
60 Minute Mini Session: This treatment is a 1-side treatment intended to support the longer visits, or for patients who have less availability. We recommend scheduling a 90 minute session at least once a month.
We ask patients to keep a credit card on file, encrypted and HIPAA-compliant. Patients may log in to their account at any time to change or remove their card on file.
We accept cash, personal checks or credit card (Visa, MasterCard and Amex).
A limited number of sliding scale fee appointments are available for students, seniors, and people on disability. For more information please inquire.

Insurance
We have many patients whose PPO Insurance offers some out of network acupuncture benefits, and would be happy to check your specific plan’s benefits to find out if your plan covers out of network acupuncture. We offer the courtesy of billing insurance for our patients, excluding the insurance company American Specialty Health (ASH). Please note that we are not in-network with any insurance providers.

Cancellation policy
We require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice to cancel or change an appointment. Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice and missed appointments will be charged the full appointment fee.
Late policy
Please arrive at your appointment at the time of your visit. If you are more than 15 minutes late, your appointment may be canceled.
Clients are responsible to pay for appointments that are canceled due to lateness. Thank you for your understanding.
