Scheduling & Payment Information

Initial Consultation & Treatment: $175-190
(Please allow one and a half to two hours for your first visit.)

Return Acupuncture Visit: $110-120
(Sessions are one hour to one and a half hour long.)

Initial Herbal Consultation: $110
(Cost of herbs not included)

Return Herbal Consultation: $90

Payment is collected at the time of treatment.

We accept cash, personal checks or credit card (Visa or Mastercard).

A limited number of sliding scale fee appointments are available for students, seniors, and people on disability. For more information please inquire.

Insurance

We accept most PPO Insurance and are happy to check your insurance benefits and let you know if your plan covers acupuncture. We will work directly with your provider for reimbursement.

Christine and Katy are both contracted providers for Blue Shield of California PPO plans (excluding those which are administered by American Specialty Health). Katy is also in-network with Cigna PPO and many UHC PPO plans.

Cancelation policy

We require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice to cancel or change an appointment. Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice and missed appointments will be charged the full appointment fee.

Late policy

Please arrive at your appointment a few minutes early. If you are going to be late, please call our office number (415) 282-2806 with an update of your status.

If you are more than 15 minutes late, your appointment may be canceled.

Clients are responsible to pay for appointments that are canceled due to lateness. Thank you for your understanding.
